It really depends on your height. You can look it up on this website:
http://www.lowfatweekly.com/height_and_weight_table_for_women.htm
This gives you choices about build too which is very helpfull, as a small frame person and a large frame person shouldn't weigh the same based only on height.
I hope this helps!

While everyone is different, the best indicator is to perform a body mass index (BMI) test. There are many sites on the Internet that will compute it for you...you just need your height, weight, and age.
Or, check with your doctor. Coming from someone with an eating disorder BMI and other tests aren't always a good indicator of overall health, only a certified physician can determine that (i.e. there may be other underlying conditions causing weight-gain or loss that wouldn't be apparent without testing).

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. U need not worry about the counting and watching.

what do you consider average in height? I am 5'9"
weight standards for women used to be:
100 pounds for first 5 foot of height and 5 pounds for each inch over 5 foot of height- the standards have changed a little in modern day to allow a few extra pounds but not many

Your healthy average weight may be determined by your height. But this requires having your exact height. Sorry, it's impossible to answer your question.
