If he was cute and had a decent sense of humour then yeah. I don't see what weight has to do with anything. If he was skinny and had a great sense of humour and was cute then he would be just as appealing.
Why class yourself as "chubby"? Why class yourself as anything? Your nick is "chubby" why do you feel the need to bring it up first? Is it a case of "if I make fun of it first then you won't"? I am sure you are not as bad as you think you are.

Of course looks matter. Just like they do with guys. No woman has ever seen a guy they find unattractive and said to herself, "I don't like how he looks but maybe he has a nice personality so I'll go talk to him." Women don't do that unless they find a guy attractive. Now some women like a "big" man the same way some men like a "healthy" woman. But it has been my observation that a wider variety of men like a wider range of women. Most women like big men. Either muscle men or other wise. Women do not tend to like say, skinny men with pot bellies. Men are generally easier to get along with in that regard
