Doesn't it insult their label as atheists?

because they fear greatly the trurh that there is a God and their eternal life is then in the balance.
their pride will not allow them to admit that they really do NEED God.

I believe in God, just not the way Christians, Muslims; or Jews do; so I ask all sorts of crazy questions about God that could be deemed insulting or degrading I suppose; frivolous if You like. I don't think God, mine or Yours; gives a flying donut what we do; individually or collectively and I'm living proof by my so called blasphemy that there is no punishment to be endured because of the fairy tales inside corrupted and edited books written by half crazy dessert wanderers. I cast out to the Universe (GOD ) for whatever I want or need and I get it, it works like a charm; I don't suffer; life is great!!!! It makes no sense to me why People would go along with all this ancient depredation nonsense for some alleged reward beyond this realm that sounds so unappealing. I think the atheists almost have it right and by God they are funny when they mock; so I mock too because it's amusing. Toodles!!!

I don't see how it insults the label "atheist". As an atheist does not believe there is a god, it harms no one to ask questions about god, insulting as they may be perceived by others.
Any question you see as degrading god cannot change your perspective on what who or what god is to you, so it really doesn't matter, does it?

Most Atheists I know don't ask degrading questions about God. They don't ask questions because they don't believe He exists.
But, I have met a few who get downright nasty towards me, or God. And I think those people are simply angry people. So, they try to make fun of God and/or His children. I think they are angry because they can't understand the Christian's certain knowledge of God's existence. And they get tired of hearing God preached to them. They want proof, and can't find any.
So, they dislike us because it seems stupid to them for anyone to believe in something that hasn't been "scientifically" proven. They think we're stupid, and stupid people make them mad. I think it's that simple.
But remember, every time someone insults you because you are a Christian, rejoice. It simply means that you are worthy to partake of the sufferings of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you
So, we need to realize that God fearing people are actually edified by these insults. Its proof all over again that the Word of God is absolute Truth. Peace.

it depends.some ask because they truly wanna know why we believe.others just to mock us with their jokes,like how do you know that that happened or it is like that?they tell us that we use God as an answer to things that we do not understand their origin,and many of them(and i know that because friends of mine are atheists) use science as a way to convince us about that.i say this:let anyone believe whatever they want!i am a Christian Orthodox and thats not gonna change.others are Catholics,Muslims,Buddhists,Jews or atheists.fine by me.just don't try to convince me about something that you yourself don't even know for sure!!!i now ignore their questions or jokes my self and answer them the same way...how do you KNOW it is not???

Just to be a jerk and show that we don't put your "gods" up on pedestals. They are not all powerful and they can not punish us. Being a believer does not make you special to us.
I try not to take it too far, but I just wanted you to know that the idea is not untouchable. You do get offended by the slightest thing though.

Because they are hypocrites. They tell Christians to keep their mouths shut and stop preaching. When in fact, atheists are guilty of preaching their religion of hopelessness, arrogance and hate.

why do you read them? we can ask what ever we want, you don't have to answer. Did you ever stop to think that if nobody responded to questions that were insulting to their crowd, that people would stop asking questions like that?

The truly insulting ones do, yes.
However, it has been my experience that anything that even remotely questions Christian or Muslim beliefs is considered a dire insult to both of them, regardless of the intention of the question.
