what's the best way to use lemon juice in order to get lighter hair?

I want to hightlight my hair by myself or by my mom. But idk how to actually do it. is it safer to use lemon juice than bleach? Please give tips!! And suggest ideas!

using lemon juice is definitely safer than using bleach,as bleach harms ur hair cos it has chemicals(it makes ur hair dry and easily breakable).apply the lemon juice directly onto ur hair from the lemon,dont squeeze the juice out first.put from root to tip.leave the juice in ur hair for about 2-3 hours,but not much longer as ur hair can get dry and try to sit in the sun during this time as the sun is a natural bleach.then wash it out.its better if ur mom puts for u as she will b able 2 apply it better on your hair than u will be able 2,since its ur head.hope it turns out well!!

Take the lemon juice and rinse your hair with it...and go take a walk out in the sun! The sun will highlight your hair using the lemon juices acids! Do this about a week everyday and it should lighten your hair! I do this! Just walk about 30 mins everyday!

you can do this, but only if there is a sunny day. apply lemon juice on your hair and go out of the house. sun and lemon juice is great combination, but it can make your hair dry. you can also use chamomile tea. All these methods will lighten your hair slightly so i would say it is safer than bleach.

Mix fresh lemon juice with water in a small spray bottle. Spray all over hair and sit in the sun until it dries. Do once a week.

dont use bleach it will damage ur hair!

leave lemon juice on ur hair under a plastic cap, n heat it (not for long coz it will burn!) or u can mix it with water n sit in the sun (no sun in the winter I KNOW!!!)
if u apply it all over ur hair it will turn out like highlights, coz it will not color evenly !!
