First, by their conduct it can be concluded that God is not in their party. Second, the individual cannot have power over the state because the state is created by God. If all individuals were to have power over the state, then you would have anarchy because no two individuals can ever agree on how the state should be run. The state IS individuals who have gotten together in a union of agreement to disagree, but somehow make things work through laws enacted and enforced by the majority. It is a collective action that usually works. If you want anarchy, go to Somalia where there is no government.

I think they'd be way better off. They just make Jesus Christ look bad. Because all the while they profess Christianity, and then live their lives stealing from the poor(figuratively speaking).
If they want to profess Christianity and think that it will get them votes, they're probably right. But after the voting ends, then we see what they are really like.
The politicians that invoke the name of Christ for their own personal gain are a large part of the reason that so many people don't see Christ as the answer. Some people are simply wolves in sheep's clothing. And I think many, not all, politicians are just that. Peace.

I think churches would be better off getting politcal bipartisanship our of their preaching and teaching.
You can be a Christian and be a Democrat.
You can be a Christian and be a Republican.
You can be a Christian and a member of the green party.
You can be a Christian and be an Independent and anything inbetween.
REMEMBER YOUR A CHRISTIAN 1st! Not a member of a particular politicaly party not even an American, but a Christ Follower 1st!

Politically speaking, no. Because they have a huge amount of support from the 'Christian right'. Removing references to God would risk alienating those supporters.

I think that all religious parties should be neutral on religion, but it's their individual choice. I can and has backfired on people though. Perhaps you might be interested in the Libertarian party....

Yes but religion is part of these hypocrites Image. If religion was abolished they wouldn`t "look good". I don`t believe they`re anymore religious than atheists.... it`s just BS.
