First of all, both parents need to be registered with the AKC. Secondly, unless you plan on registering the litter, you cannot get the puppies "pedigreed". All you have are puppies that came from parents that may/may not be registered and have papers.
Secondly, are you prepared to provide a contract to the puppy buyers that guarentees the puppies health and includes a do not abandon clause? A do not abandon clause states that if for any reason they cannot keep the dog at a later date, you will take the dog back and either keep it or find a suitable new home. This means if something happens in 5 years and they cannot keep the puppy, you will take it back.
The contract should also include a spay/neuter clause as individuals with no knowledge or experience should not be breeding dogs. Breeding should only be done with the betterment of the breed in mind (i.e. intimate knowledge of the breed standard and any health tests that should be done). Thus, you want to ensure that they are not breeding because they have 2 yorkies or know a friend with a yorkie.
Also, do Yorkies require any health testing before breeding? If so, was that done first? Proof of that information should be included in writing on the contract too.
When you make a decision to bring puppies into this world, you make a decision to become responsible for them for the rest of their lives; irregardless of whether or not you sell them. This means helping the new owners with any questions they have at any point in the dogs lives; follow-up conversations shortly after placing the pups to see how the adjustment stage is going etc.
Anyone unwilling to do these things has no business breeding and should spay/neuter their dogs.

they are already pedigree. If you mean register then the only way is to KC register. Why do you not want to register the pups given that both parents are registered?
BTW. why should a breeder in the UK on UK answers, contact the AKC????
Were here in the UK are not part of America, we have nothing to do with America and our kennel club has nothing to do with the AKC for god's sake.

You used to be able to buy the pedigree forms from good pet shops. I'm not syre if you still can but uts worth asking. You can fill the forms in yourself copying from the paraents pedigrees. If you decide to register the puppies you will have to contact the kennel club.Any one who wants a dog just as a pet and a member of the family won't really nead a pedigree but if they intend to enter them in shows etc then they will have to be kennel club registered.....

Why didn't you check on this information before you bred the b!tch and stud? Unplanned? That is why so many dogs are out there without homes. Just because your dog has pedigree papers doesn't mean you should breed them. Forget about registering them or getting papers, JUST FIND THEM GOOD HOMES AND MAKE SURE THE PUPS GET SPAYED/NEUTERED!!! Be responsible now!!!

You can't get them pedigreed without contacting AKC and registering the litter. All you can do is advertise them as being from Pedigreed parents, but the owners won't be able to register them unless you register the litter.

8 yorkies in one litter????? same mom??? alrighty then. this is probably a question you should have checked into before breeding your dogs. and what is kc registering? do you mean AKC? are the parents AKC registered, or do they have papers from the UKC? these are the preferred dog clubs. anyone can start a dog club online anymore and send you papers for a dog. if the parents aren't both AKC registered then you cannot register the pups with them anyway. and i believe the same hold true for ukc but i'm not sure.

you can't register them unless you contact the akc and if you only have one parent registered and the other isn't you won't be able to get the litter registered. you need both parents to be registered in order to register the litter. so in all you will need to call the akc to get the litter papered.
