My husband and I were married for 14 years...he had a an affair with my sister...we divorced...six months later we started dating...we have been living together for two years...it was the hardest thing to forgive him, I will never forgive my sister...I can't say I am truly happy today, but I never stopped loving him.

I have. I thought he was the love of my life, we were together for 2.5 years and we split for various reasons. We found each other again after about 6 months apart and we were happy for a year or so but the reasons we split were still there so it failed again.
Your ex is your ex for a reason otherwise you wouldn't have split in the first place.

I broke up with my boyfriend for 2 months. We're married with a 20 month old and have been together, minus the 2 months for 6 years. It's all a matter of why and how you broke up, and who you broke up with. My husband was a great guy before, after and during the breakup, and who doesn't want someone that consistent?

Well, I'm single so yeah, it fell apart again...I don't even know what happened because he won't tell me what I did wrong. He just gave me excuses like the first time we broke up, he needs to focus on school, he doesn't want to make a commitment just yet because he's still young (22, still young my ***), he wants to fix his life, etc.
The first time we broke up, I saw it coming...however the second time was out of the blue. I thought that things were getting better but then one day as we were hanging out he was like, "So where is this going?"

It all depends on the situation, I have broken up with my current boyfriend in the past, but now we are back together and getting married. It opened his eyes as to what he was doing wrong and how much he missed me in his life. Besides, im sure we have all heard the old saying. If you love someone let them go and if they come back, it was meant to be. I think it could work!

I did one time a few years ago, it did not work out. The old problems always seem to refocus themself. Worst than the first time. I got away, never looked back. Now I am happy. WoooHooooo.
