I am not sure that you actually have a boyfriend anymore. I think you can safely take this as a sign that you are now free to move on.
He did not forget, he is probably not dead, he IS rude.
At least you're rid of him, he doesn't sound worth a relationship.

I am sorry, but to me it seems as if he wants to break up with you, but he does not have the courage to do it. Why would you want to date someone like that anyways? You are too good for a guy to treat you like that.
Know that is how a lot of guys break up with the girl if they are too chicken to tell the girl to their faces - they stop calling.
So, don't call him and move on. If you need some kind of closure, you be the bigger one and seek him out for closure.
But he is a coward

wow no call no show for a month and eight days? geez, have you at least tried calling him? i mean, come on now that's a REALLY long time. either something really went wrong [but doubt it] or he's just isn't interested anymore and he didn't know how to end it. i say you find out what's going on.

I told him he should call you and let you know that he was with me but he was to scared. I guess I should have been the better woman and called you myself. But take heed sweetie...he aint' that great anyway. I'm seriously thinking about telling him to hit the road
