I went to the dentist and they prescribed chlorhexidine gluconate oral rinse. I was told to use it after breakfast and right before bed. I overheard someone saying that they rinse with salt water everyday. So would that help along with the other stuff?

Chlorhexidine is a very powerful antibiotic that kills bacteria and as a result to that, prevents gingival bleeding (gum bleeding). Its more than enough, so theres no need for salty water.
