Can't seem to find any figures listing l-theanine content in mg. per cup of white tea, would also be helpful to know how it compares with green tea which likewise I can't find figures for. Thanks!

Everything I have read indicates that the content of L-theanine in white tea is very minute if at all in some types.
Green tea is most always mentioned in connection with the amino acid. This amino acid has been reported to reduce anxiety, promotes mental and physical restorative powers and improve mood, all without drowsiness. Theanine improves mood through the positive effect on neurotransmitters such as dopamine & serotonin.
