Yup, wasting time until my timer dings.
My boss and I actually had an argument because she insisted that water could boil at a temperature higher than 100 degrees C. (sea level, pure water). And she is supposed to be supervising a bunch of chemists. And she is stinky. And mean.
Ding.

I am different from you a little, I love my job because I work in the outdoors but my supervisor is a butthead. HE thinks he knows everything but whoa he doesn't . AND if something breaks he will try to m ake us fix it with junk. Then the stuff breaks and he will start yelling that it just got fixed and we don't know how to fix nothing. But when we tell him that if you would buy new stuff to fix it the first time it wouldn't too soon, but he comes up with this crap about well I already spent too much money, acting like it's his company. SO don't feel alone on haveing the worse BOSS of the year. HEY get bored and want to chat IM me anytime.

I'm suppose to be working, but am on Yahoo answers instead.
I don't hate my job, but rather my boss. He's just a big liar and is full of empty promises.
The office administrator is the only person here that doesn't see right through him. He kisses her a$$ all day everyday. I think he thinks that's what his job is.

I don't hate my job. I'm overqualified for it (secretary with a Masters), but in our rural area, there aren't many jobs available. My husband and I moved here when I was in grad school and pregnant and he was in college, so we were totally broke. He got a job here and couldn't find one where we already lived so he had to take it so we could support our child. But it's pretty low-stress, and my boss is pretty cool. He's in his early 60s (semi-retired) and has kids my age. Anyway, yep, I'm on Answers a lot. But don't tell on me.

I love my job but am looking to move up, because I'm so bored. Thus, Yahoo answers! You're doing the right thing by moving forward. Good luck with that.

Good for you! That's the way to take charge of your life, decide the way you're going is wrong and do something about it!
Marry me! Please! I need a woman with intelligence and a backbone! These Georgia girls get married at 16 and spend the rest of their lives popping babies out and cooking in the kitchen. I can't stand anyone with such low expectations of life.

I am supposed to be working! My job is ok...the co-workers are blah, but my boss is nice and is very flexable. I have 3 kids so I always have something i have to take off and do.
I have tons of things to do, but I am here....this is more fun!

Love my job, hate my boss and being corporate. Much rather stay home with my kiddos though. It never gets better, you just learn to live with it.
