There's one I make that tastes the same as Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic, but is CHEAP. 1/2c sour cream, 1/2c mayo, 1 or 2 tablespoons diced garlic (roasted if fresh, if from a bottle from a store, as-is is fine.), and about 1/2 tsp salt. Add a dash of dried parsley for color if desired.

For Bacon Bacon, 1/2c sour cream, 1/2c mayo, 1tsp dried onion, and about 3 slices minced crispy bacon, 1/2tsp salt.

Onion dip, for chips and veggies. Go get boxed onion soup mix (in the soup isle) take one packet of it and a jar of sour cream and mix. refrigerate and done. Or even faster, go to the deli and buy some premade dip
