I ask guys out all the time, it doesn't mean I'm ugly. "Why wait at home for the phone to ring when you can take a chance and go out with someone new?". Some girls just think it's terrible that I ask guys out, but why wait? If the guy says "no" I ask someone else, I don't take it personal. I'll ask the guy some questions, talk about current events and you can usually tell if they are interested. I'm just direct and to the point.

I'd say that is a lot more common now than in my day. In the ice ages- there was a holiday called Sadie Hawkins Day where the girls would ask the boys to a dance held in honor of this holiday.

i've asked out a couple of boys. Its been 50/50 . You never know unless you try. I am a frim believer in that . So if you are pondering this action do it , the worst you can get is a solid no . And if you think about it rejection is apart of life in any aspect ! :)

Six.

Five of them live in West Virginia, and only do this at family reunions.

Okay, I know...I'm amazingly funny. Calm down.

Lots of girls ask boys out. It puts you in the driver's seat, instead of waiting for some chicken/dumb boy to make a move. I highly recommend it. Then you won't be sitting by the phone going "woe is meeee... he never calllls."

Good luck.

I have before. I asked my current B/F out (we exchanged #'s the night before) but I asked if he wanted to meet me at a bar Thanksgiving night 2005 and he came and we've been together ever since.

I HAVE ASKED A GUY OUT BEFORE. I JUST FIND OUT IF HE FEELS THE SAME WAY ABOUT ME. IF HE DOES. THEN I ASK HIM OUT. BUT MORE GUYS HAVE ASKED ME OUT. I JUST THINK GUYS SHOULD DO THE ASKING OUT PART BECAUSE GIRLS ARE USUALLY MORE SHY. GUYS ARE MORE CONFIDENT A GUESS. BUT NOT ALOT OF GIRLS ASK GUYS OUT. BECAUSE THEY ARE JSUT AFRAID OF REJECTION.
