Ya i have no clue why. I am a red head my self but my hair is considered "rare" because its a mix of brown and red naturally. But i have no idea what the problem is with red hair. I remember that song by Sean desman called "red hair". The chorus went like this:
I'm scared that girl's a red head.
I'm scared that girl's a red head.
Cause every time I go there I see them red head girls just ain't no good.

how rude. And i don't understand why he said that because I'm sure all his "red haired" fans are pissed at him. I know I am. But to answer your question. I think guys have a preference on hair colour. Some like blonds and some like brunettes. And the lucky ones like reds. So some guys may not like red hair but its there loss. I have had boyfriends before and they don't have a problem with my hair. So don't let anyone make you feel bad about your hair, and if they do then there stupid.

I am a guy, and I love red hair. My Mom was red headed, and I have a precious granddaughter who is red headed. I also know some pretty good looking females who have red hair. You obviously haven't found the right guy. Hang in there, and you will find someone who will see you as someone special - and the red hair helps make you just that!

I think it is so interesting that you asked this question because the two men in my life - my dad and my husband - LOVE redheads...and I'm a brunette! Evrytime I go to the salon, my husband says, "What about dying your hair red?" I'm sorry to hear you feel that way about your hair, because I'm sure it's lovely. If it really makes you that crazy, though, you can always have some brown tones added to it to clam it down. But I wouln't get an all-out dye job, because it's really not great for your hair, and you should NEVER change yourself for someone else's approval. Love your hair, girl!

Judging by your avatar you are Oriental...Which means you have wheatish colored skin (yellow) this does not go well with red.

Guys do like red hair. Because I've had it a few different shades of auburn in the past few years and I get many more compliments on it than my natural chestnut/lightbrown hair, from guys and girls. When I met my husband for the first time I had medium auburn hair and he loved it. Then again...I also have the coloring to match it. If you do auburn hair of any shade with a wheatish complexion, or even a golden tan or orange complexion, of course it's not going to look good, no offense. Red hair looks best on fair to dark skin with red undertones.

A bunch of guys like it you just havn't found the right one. But don't change for anyone else. Dying your hair a different color is all up to you girl! (I would change red hair cause I LOVE red hair.

My oldest daughter has flaming red hair and guys like her, usually. She also has the personality of a redhead, b^tchy sometimes. She is very beautiful, I am soooo proud of her. Red hair is wonderful, and it is hard to get the right color out of a bottle! Don't feel bad, you are beautiful!!!!!
