As to physical damage to your brain I'm not sure but as far as damaging your long term mental health is concerned the answer is definitely yes. Get some treatment. My mother suffers from extreme anxiety and has for 20 years. It is a big strain on the whole family.

It's very possible and likely the added "stress" from worrying will cause a deterioration of your health, whether it hits the cranial region first or other parts of the body. Stress has become the number one killer due to the toll it applies to the health.
The real question is...what the hell are you worried about? Never sweat the small stuff.....it's all small stuff. Worrying is a waste of time and energy. When you look back at the times of worry and realized how foolish it was, you'll know what a waste it was and the toll it put on your health.

Damage your brain? No. Your body, yes. Your spirit? Yes. And no amount of worry can change ANYTHING for the better. You simply need a dose of reality to break this silly spell you have put yourself under. Get on a roller coaster. Learn skydiving. Go rock climbing. Get that silly stuff out of your head once and for all. Life is for living, not worrying about. Stop wasting yours!

does the headache started with the worry? if this is the case then stop worrying. although worry does not cause headache or brain damage it may be the case with you, worrying too much is not good for your health in general I do not think it will cause brain dmage but it may cause headache and chronic headache can be a debilitating condition. If you cannot stop worry for yourself seek the help of a professional.

No physical damage to the brain, but you could be damaging your body with depression or stress.
High blood pressure, decreased immune system response, etc.
My advice is after a thorough physical undertake the practice of meditation to counteract the effects of the stress.

No, worrying can not damage your brain. But the condition you describe is called post-traumatic stress disorder. People who exxperienced bad things suffer from it and you will need treatment. Check with a counsellor.

I doubt it's damaging your brain, but it can do harm to other areas of your body as stress/worry can negatively affect your health in various ways. Headaches, muscle tension, stomach issues, lower immunity, your appetite can be affected, it can cause hair loss, etc.
Talk to your doctor or a counselor and see what can be done to alleviate your constant worry. Nobody's life should be that stressful.

Constant anxiety can't cause severe brain damage but it can reduce your memory and concentration. Constant anxiety also uses more calories so your brain doesn't have as much energy to function at its best. I have also read somewhere that anxiety and depression can destroy some brain cells but they can be restored with antidepressants.
