Through prayer, hard work, and a very specific focus on what you want to achieve.
And don't listen to people who think you're "greedy" -- you live on Earth, you must work within the system here.
Don't forget to check in with your plan, so you know when you've reached your goals. When you do reach your goals, turn your life to creating peace on Earth!

There are 3 ways that God answers prayer- YES, NO and WAIT. "prayer should not be getting God ready to do our will, but it should getting us ready to do His.- Oswald Chambers said this.
Prayer is not a waste of time, it is a privilege to come before the Throne of God, through Jesus Christ. God does hear our prayers, but He does not always answer them the way we would like. But every time after He answers I can look back and see that it was the best answer, even though at the time I thought it wasn't.

I believe in the power of prayer. I know that God answers all prayers, even before we are done with our prayer.
I also believe that there is petition and desire. Let's say that I pray for a million bucks. I probably am praying for the money because I think that it will make me happy. My real desire is happiness. God may not give me the million bucks, but I will recieve happiness. I believe in prayer so much that I think it is the only thing that will save our nation from another terrorist attack. 2nd Chron.7:14. Peace out.

I'm not even a Christian, but say that praying can help and get you things. It goes that just 'cause you want something, you won't get it. If it's a material object of some sort that you don't actually NEED, well then you won't get it. Praying is supposed to be a way to help family members, friends, whatever that are in need of help, whether traveling or they're sick. But praying for material gain itself though would be a very stupid thing to do.
So if a god does hear your prayers, it's not for stupid things like material objects.

yes God hears hears all prayers but depends on your faith. it does not work when you only pray when you are in trouble or need something. Praying all the time is the only God would be able to hear you. for example last fall, i didn't pass my English exam even though i had studied about it. The only problems happens to be that i am so anxious about it . when i was giving the second chance, i prayed for seven days constantly asking God to save me because i have to take the class again plus the fees and books. it worked and i passed it. you have to be specific on what you want when you pray.

I don't think God always gives us what we pray for because we don't always pray for according to His will and purpose. Sometimes someone might pray and ask for a particular need such as a certain used car to get to work. They wait and wait and it doesn't happen. But later on they are offered another car that was better than the one they prayed for at the same or even a better price. This is just an example of how God knows what we need better than what we know and how sometimes we want things that aren't according to His plans.

Hundreds of millions prayed for your god to stop Hitler before he caused 30+ million to die during WWII and he did NOTHING. A simple little blood clot would have done the trick, say in 1934, but NOOOOOO. If this god of yours could turn a good woman into a pillar of salt for looking over her shoulder, why couldn't he answer the prayers to end evil. Either your god is heartless, powerless, both, or does not exist at all.

I pray 5 times a day and yes I believe that if you pray that you can get some of what you want. However I think it also depends on whether you are selfish and only pray for yourself that may make ALLAH not grant you everything you want. I think if you don't seek a lot of material gains in this life and pray for other people more often that you might get the thing your heart desires when ALLAH wills it.

I think a lot of prayer is wasted on trying to obtain things for oneself. Logically, I don't see much of a difference between saying a prayer and casting a spell. Both seem like superstitious behavior.

of course God hear your prayer.. but will he give you anything you want to have through prayer?? Not really.. You will get something that is best for you, because God know your situation.. not best outwardly.. but Best for you to pursue the Lord.
Sometime.. God give us difficult... but it's because He love us.. He give us difficult time to us.. be cause He want us to turn to the Lord and cry out to Him.. that you give up and want to trust Him! in this way He can gain you!
Have you ever pray that He will give you hard time? of course not! but how you really trust the Lord and gain the Lord if you didn't give up your self and trust that He can do really care about you?? Trough hard time!
That's my experience!
