Interesting question.......I know the parent has to consent to an abortion at that age--she can't just go get one on her own......call the clinic and ask them. They should know right off the top of their head--or call your local Planned Parenthood. Or, if you don't have one locally, call the one in Birmingham, surely they have one.

Not really sure, but I'm thinking no since it's her body.
Tho she is under the age of consent....
Alabama is a screwed up place so I'm not really sure.
I'm not sure if you're asking as a parent or as the pregnant girl or just in general so I'm going to give answers to a parent and to a pregnant girl
parent- why do you want your child to have an abortion? What would you have done if you were pregnant at 14? Is the father around? Do you think your child would be a good parent? Have you sat your daughter down and talked to her? Don't scream and yell and threaten as that will do nothing except make her rebel what you're asking for.
pregnant girl- Do you want the child? are you still going to want it after it's not so cute and you're up at 3am feeding it and it wont stop crying and the diapers are gross? Is the father going to be there? No really, do you think he's going to stick around when he can be out partying and living his life? Trust me guys aren't as big on babies as girls are. Do you have a job? It's not fair to make your parents raise your child. Are you done with education? If not, how are you going to go to college and get a good job when you're working at a dive trying to make your child have a good life. Do you honestly feel that you can give that child the best life possible?
Children are a lot of work, a lot of responsibility and cost an extreme amount of money! Not to mention you will have no time to yourself, no time for your friends and I can guarantee that after a few weeks your friends wont even bother with you because the cute doll like thing will have turned into a real baby that cries and poops and pukes and needs to be fed and no 15 year old wants that.
You also need to talk to the father. Discuss his role in this, what is he going to do. Child support- he has to pay it. There are options abortion, adoption and keeping the child.
You are only 15, I'm not saying get an aborton, but it's probably in your best interest.
at 15 your body is not developed enough to support the baby properly, it can really mess you up in the long run....you need to think about all of this.
if you need someone to talk to, feel free to email me

No. Hell no. I was 17 and preggy (in Alabama). As a parent of the child, you have a right to decide what is done with your own body/baby. Don't let anyone force you into a decision. YOU have to live with what happens, not them. If YOU want to abort, its your call. Don't let someone scare or force you into a choice. If you parents threaten to kick you out ( and no family will take you in) or home is dangerous, call Social Services or the cops to find out safe places you can go. Don't ever let anyone decide something that important for you.

NO ONE ANYWHERE can make you have an abortion.
Talk to your counselor or call someone that will help you out. There are organization that help when the woman has no support; financially or emotionally.
good luck.
Adoption is the greatest gift of love you can give.
