I'm also trying to lose exactly 70lbs.

Lets see.

I just started a diet back in october and lost about 15lbs. The more I do the diet, the faster i lose the weight it seems.

Basically i've been eating fruits and veggies. Snacks that used to be cookies are now bananas, or celery dipped in ranch dressing.
I measure exactly 1 cup of 1% milk in my cereal (i hate skim!!)..and 1 cup of cereal.

Sometimes i get really really hungry like after coming home from work ...and i want something RIGHT AWAY!!! So on the weekend i cut vegetables or buy a vegie platter and i keep some ranch dressing on hand (they say dressing is bad, but its better than eating chips!! and as long as your not eating it by the spoonful..theres nothing wrong with it).... and that way they're right at hand...just take them out of the fridge and enjoy.

I do the same with fruit. I throw all kinds of fruit together in an air tight container...strawberries bluebarries rasberries manderine oranges(they come in a can) and when i want something sweet i put a dab of cool whip (not whip cream....2tbs of cool whip only has 25calories) on top of the fruit and there i go!
I also love cool whip on apple sauce. Most indidual containers of apple sauce usually only have 100calories or less...so 1container of apple sauce with cool whip is only 125 calories!!!
Try not to eat fried and fatty foods. However, everything in moderation is okay (as long as you dont over do it)

And dont foreget exercies. walking is great....but try to find something you love. I love swimming, and my area has a community center with an indoor pool. ..... finding something you love doing will make it easier to stick with it...

Drink LOTS of water and dont forget your multivitamin.
(Not only does water curb your appitite but it also keeps your metabolism going. I call it my all natural diet pill!)

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing toxins from your body. You get toxins from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The toxins get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the toxins. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! I would sign up at a gym. After you sign up, you're kinda tied to it, because you paid for it, and you're in the most perfect place to lose weight. Almost every equipment to work every muscle is in there, there are a bunch of safeties in case something happens, there are trainers who can guide you through and maximize your workout, plus they're pretty cute. You can also go with a group of friends, in case you ever get tired, lonely, or want to play a sport indoors.
General Guideline to Eating Healthy:
-Don't eat out. Period. Unless you're starving in some remote corner of the world due to a excursion incident, if you eat out, you more than likely will start to gain weight.
-Cook everything yourself, from scratch, and the only dairy product you can use is milk. Literally go down the grocery aisles and grab some vegetables, fresh.
-No junk food. I'm not kidding. Anything that isn't tortilla chips and salsa, granola bars, or whole grain stuff, trash immediately. Or give it away. Don't even keep them around the house, because you know you will go back to eat them.
-If you buy in bulk, because it's cheaper, seal the big packages (of, let's say, pretzels) into littler ziploc bags. The small ones. You will control your portions mentally this way, and will feel less urge to eat.
-Have a conversation over dinner, and always have a glass of water in one hand. This allows for optimal hydration, and keeps you from stuffing your face with both hands (I'm 125lbs, and I'll admit to stuffing my face like a pig).
-Don't get depressed, go out for a walk, talk to people, laugh (most effective exercise right there, scientifically and realistically proven) and smile.

That's a lot of weight in a little amount of time but I think it's possible. Cardio will be your best friend. don't let a day go by without doing something, but at least 3-5 days a week of intense cardio and remember to add some weight training, drink tons of water and a strict diet veggies, some carbs but not a ton, and lean proteins. Good luck!

Cardio cardio cardio...PLUS..some weight training. Its going to be quite challenging to lose so much weight so fast..but it's doable and you can do it healthily too. Just cut your caloric intake and eat healthy low fat, low cal foods. If you have a hectic schedule and dont have time to shop and cook healthy I'd suggest investing in some weight watchers frozen meals or other like brands. Watch your calories. I'd suggest you hit the gym 4x's a week and be sure to challenge yourself and work up a sweat. If you have the means maybe set up a some appointments with a certified trainer to help you along.

I have lost 130lbs since December of 05, and I did it with eating one sour apple in the morning with the low fat caramel, and whenever I got hungry, I had a cup or two of air popped popcorn or another apple and ate dinner before 6 pm. I drank plenty of water flavored with peppermint and lots of walking. I did not realize that I had lost so much weight until I had to buy new shoes due to my old ones were too big after being so heavy! Good luck, and remember that water does curb the appetite!

Just wake up early. Fresh up. Take 1or2 lemon. Squeze out juice in a glass. Top up glass with lukewarm water. Drink it and do your exercises i would prefer long distance running. And u will find yourself feeling light within a week. It will also increase your stamina. For eating say no to fast food only and eat homemade food. Just try it. It will help.

I have been doing the Billy Blanks workout every morning. I have dropped weight, lost inches and been much more energized. Drink lots of water and eat throughtout the day....make sure you eat, don't starve yourself. It will only make things worse in the long run. I have learned through personal failure and happiness. Good Luck...ohh yeah and no carbs at night.
