I think that it seems that Athiests pick on Christians and vice versa. Both groups feel very strongly that their view is the right one and the other is (and I am making a very broad generalization here) either a simpleton who puts all his/her faith in a make believe god or a devil that's going straight to hell in a hand basket. Many "Christians" are easy targets because of their attitude that if you don't believe what they believe then you're going to hell. They tend not to be rational and they tend to blindly reject science, most art and anything that doesn't fit into their interpretation of the Way. It's a pity really, Jesus Christ helped others selflessly and preached acceptance and love. He believed in inclusion rather than exclusion. Many "Christians" would do well to go back and actually read the poor Bible that they've been thumping and do a little soul searching.

its not anti anything. Yes people like to be strongly opinionated and make a point of telling you they think your religion is stupid, believe me I've had my weaker moments, but its really just a lack of religion then being against a religion. An atheist may still believe that you should respect your parents, and that you shouldn't kill someone or cheat on your wife, but just be against organized religion. In this way it can't be anti-christianity, because they probably do have some of the same beliefs and morals, I know I do, and I think of christianity as i would a greek myth.

It's because Xianity and her cousin Islam are the most intolerant and aggressive of the religions. Both believe in only one god. Anyone who isn't with them is the enemy, and going to hell. Both are fear based religions who downplay thinking for yourself.
I am an atheist, yes. That doesn't mean that I hate religion. But Xianity (Particularly Fundie Xians) are everything that is wrong with religion.
I see no other religion trying to force it's concept of morality on others by changing laws. And I see no other religion that tries to shame and scare people into believing it.

Well, the thing is that christians don't limit them selves to believe what they wanna believe but rather keep trying to convert everybody, pass laws based on their religion and keep tell everybody, including other religions that they are going to hell and damn, that really turned me into an antichristian!! BTW, I'm an Atheist!!!

Theists, especially christians, try to control and restrict us based on their views. If all christians stop crusading against science, culture, art, sex and sexuality, religious freedom and such, and stop telling everybody else they're going to be tortured throughout eternity unless they join you, I assure you that you won't encounter nearly as much hostility.

Buddhists and Wiccans are not trying to legislate their beliefs, thus imposing them on the rest of us. Hindus and practitioners of Voodoo do not pay lip service to religious freedom and freedom of conscience and then insist that their country is really a "Hindu nation" or "Voodoo nation."
I'm not religious, not anti-religious. I would fight to defend the equal rights of my Christian neighbors. I'm just disappointed that the Christian nationalists wouldn't lift a finger to defend my rights, or the rights of other minorities.

Christianity is the biggest religious target for the Western world, and so it is the most useful to attack, being familiar with most people of this forum.
I have reasons for why every religion is ridiculous. The biggest one is burden of proof.

Christianity is the delusional superstition that poses the most immediate threat to freedom in the Western world, so it gets most of our attention. Rest assured, we have just as much disrespect for all the rest of the so called "ultimate truths".
