Weight Lifting...That how guys lose weight faster then women. More muscle the more your body burn fat on it own. Plus I would do 5-6 weeks of cardio to help burn more fat. Try reducing the your calories intake. Green tea help with your metabolism. Good Luck

Genuinely I would opt for one of the mainstream diets such as Slimming World or WW and stick to the letter.

You can probably lose more quickly if you do a detox or something similar, but I think that after a good start in week 1 you will be bored and fail, or you will trick your body into holding onto the fat rather than losing it!

If you give one of the standard low fat, low in bad carb diets and eat plenty of their free foods - fruit and veg, and drink loads of water, you will lose weight healthily and stick to it for a whole month without falling off the wagon. Also, you will have some evidence of the weight loss if you go tot he classes to be weighed. I would recommend boosting the first week by giving yourself a mini-detox.

A month is a short time to lose a stone, however it can be done.

Ha, I hope this is worth it. Friend of mine is also competing against another guy to lose 10kg for the next 3 months, the stakes are much higher too -- half a grand.

Anyway, back to your question. First the maths:
1 stone = 14lbs or 6.35kg
1g of sugar or protein or alcohol = 4 cal
1g of fat = 9 cal

To lose one stone, you need to consumer less calories or burn more calories than you are doing right now, that's equivalent to 6.35kg x 1000 x 9 calories or 57,150 calories (assuming all weight loss are fat) or x7 calories = 44,450 calories (mixture of fat and protein/muscle).

Average man needs 2,500 cal a day, so that's equivalent to 23 days' of food -- in other words, it's not possible to lose that much weight unless you don't eat for the next month.

What you could do is do it over longer periods of time, on a weight loss, you need only calories equivalent to your weight (in pounds) x 10 to 12, so 160 lb man = 1,600 to 1,920 cal a day. This is more manageable and healthy way of losing weight.

So that translate into eating 500-900 cal less or burn 500-900 more than you do right now per day (note: 900 cal a day = 100g of fat). That's around 0.5kg a week, a month = 2kg which is not a bad effort for doing relatively little effort.

If you want to accelerate the weight loss a little more, a gym session typically burns 500 cal so you could potential try a combination of 3-5 gym sessions a week and reduce daily calories intake by 500 cal (e.g. equivalent to a big Mac, 1/3 of meat pie, 1/2 of pizza).

Of course, attack your mate by jeopardising his effort at the same time -- bring Mars/chocolate bars and snacks to tempt him!

First off what the heck is a stone in weight? If you eat 3 light meals a day with high protein snacks and burn off more calories than you take in you will loose weight.

Basically, eat the barest minimum, say a slice of toast and a glass of orange juice for breakfast, with a cup of milk in the evening. As much water as you want. No healthy person will suffer on this diet over one month, especially if they are at least a stone above the minimum healthy weight for their height, as I assume you are. How's your willpower?

with or without exercise!!

standard weight female 1"=800gms=1.76lbs& Male 1"=2.2lbs
Fat%-Male 16%for you rage group -female:26%
Replacing with two meals with optimum protin, low low sugar, lowfat, low carbohydrate nutrition with other essentail supplements, and having one meal of your choice ,along with one liter of water for every 44lbs would give the desired results -1 to 2lbs per week weight loss.
