I think just about everybody puts on weight during the holidays with all food that's around. It's normal to feel bad about the weight gain. Start making healthy eating choices, drink more water and incorporate exercise into you lifestyle - you start to feel better!

If you're just bloated... drink some hot lemon water tonight. Watch your salt, stay away from processed foods (salt hides in them) and drink a BUNCH of water. Also, if you cut out carbs all together for just two days, keep up the water and the hot lemon water, steer clear of sodium and processed crap and red meat... for just two days, you will get rid of that water. Pair that with 3 or 4 oranges a day, and you'll probably drop a pound or two of real weight. Seriously. :)

Good luck. I know the holidays can get you down for putting on a couple pounds. I also know it's worse for those of us who are planning a wedding. But, just smile. Stress and sadness will pack on a couple pounds, too! You can knock off that holiday bloat in no time!

SODAS!!! I have gotten down to just a couple of sodas a week. Over the holidays I bought a twelve pack and drank most of them. I had some major soda bloat!

Watch your sodium and salt intake. Soda's are a big problem if you get bloated or retain water. Lower your caloric intake and increase your physical activity....it is the only way to successfully get healthy.

Cut out all carbonated drinks and reduce your sodium intake. This will help.
