No, why should guys be threatened? They should only feel threatened if they plan on eleciting a defensive response from her.
Yes i think i should protect her, and for that matter anybody male or female, young or old, who needs protecting, so far as it is in my power to protect them.

Not threatened...it's cool.
Both my girlfriend and I have studied the martial arts before we met. It is nice to know she can take care of herself. It is fun to practice together.
It something serious happens, I would still try and protect her.

Its cool, but I dont mind protecting. Thats why I started taekwondo, to protect my girlfriend. BUT, i forgot one vital thing...the girlfriend! Ah shucks, lets see if it works next time...
