First of all, they're not "prophets," they're fruitcakes. They try to blame all of society's problems on a lack of faith in their god. Ridiculous. But men like this have always had their shares of followers, otherwise they wouldn't be so successful. Or rich. What bothers me most about them is they have one comforting hand on your shoulder while the other hand is picking your pocket. Snake oil salesmen like this are always with us.
