Let her rinse her mouth with very cold water and/or put a bag of ice (or anything cold) on her cheek on the side of the painful tooth, this will eliminate the pain instantly. Pain killers are helpful too.

Let her take pain reliever-- the same brand of pain reliever she usually takes when she has a headache. If the tooth has an open cavity, moisten a small cotton pellet with oil of cloves and stick it inside. If oil of cloves is not available, cut a small piece of garlic and stick it inside. It has a sedative effect on the nerve inside the tooth and will provide temporary relief.
See your dentist regularly so that developing cavities get treated before they become big and painful.

That's tough. When tooth pain gets out of hand it seems like nothing can stop it or ease it up. Have you tried IB profen? It's a anti-inflammatory drug so it may reduce the throbbing feeling. I would say to keep taking IB profen's and try to make the pain as manageable until tomorrow.

She can take a pain medicine and use anbesol on the tooth. Also cloves help too. If the pain is real severe call the dentist and ask for an emergency appointment.

sloshing very salty warm water around her mouth can help but don't swallow it and filling the cavity with chewed sugar free gum to prevent air getting to the cavity.
Also tickling her back helps pain also because it sends good sensation signals that counter pain messages it is amazing how good that works cos my wife did it for me.

the enamel can heal itself. So if you have a bad habit of chewing on bottle caps or rocks, and you wear a hole in the enamel, eventually the enamel can grow back. but if the hole is too deep, then you have a permanent hole. This is why i won't let a dentist drill holes in my teeth unless there is an obvious, visible cavity.
