I would imagine that it is a lot harder than creating a human. If so, then the likelihood of creating such a god would be improbable… right? So why do people say that if we exist, that a god must have made us?

Your question is very interesting in that it shows that your starting assumptions are that more complex things are created via a process in which simpler things increase in complexity until they become more comlex things, as per the Darwinist paradigm. You see complex lifeforms like humans as having been created with great difficulty from simpler life forms like our supposed evolutionary ancestors. You reason that since our own evolution is already improbable, the evolution of a supreme being is even less probable.

However, let me suggest that you examine a different possibility, that instead of more complex lifeforms evolving from simpler ones, they were created by the supreme being who did not evolve by Darwinian means. I have no answer to the question of where God came from, except that he says through the profets that he existed before the universe came into being. The reason that there is life in the universe and that the universe is capable of supporting life, is that the supreme being made it for that purpose.

No one in this world knows. Ask God! God tells us that He is the beginning and the end. He calls Himself - I AM. God is Spirit. God is an all-consuming fire. God spoke and creation happened.
God said that He is the Potter and we are the clay. Our body came from dust and it will go back to dust. Our Spirit is from God and our spirit is everlasting so we can be with God throughout all eternity.

When you find out how to create a Spirit who is everlasting, then just maybe you could create a supreme being. Don't try to cheat though. You can't borrow from God's Spirit until God gives it freely to you. So you can't borrow, you can't cheat, you can't steal - therefore MERE MAN create. If you can't create, then you aren't a CREATOR.

It takes paper, a good imagination, and some wild drugs to create a supreme being. All you have to do is create stories and get some poor sap to believe it. Viola! You have a god.

People created a supreme being to explain all things unexplainable otherwise. It's hard to understand why bad things happen - like natural disasters, death of a loved one, etc.

Sugar and spice and every... oh wait, that's little girls. Um... I don't know. I have no use for supreme beings, so creating one seems to have little value.

The supreme being is uncreated. It exists necessarily, while you and me and every other finite actuality exist contingently.
