A pap smear is when the doctor takes a swab of your cervix and they test it to check for infections or pre-cancer cells.

My OB told me that some women are put on birth control pills for one month just to regulate their cycle. Also, you are most likely to conceive the month after going off them because you are more likely to ovulate that month. Therefore, you only have to be on the pill for one month. The pill only stays in your system for 1 day, which is why you have to take one everyday to avoid pregnancy. I never got pregnant on the pill, but know many women have.

you will find different answers for that. some say 3 months some say 6 months some say a year. Really...it doesn't matter. I stopped the pill and get pregnant 4 weeks later. a pap smear is what the obgyn does to check for cancer its a quick process a little uncomfortable but very good for you. you do it once a year. and yes you can get pregnant off birth control...its rare but it happens. there is no 100% method of birth control except abstinence

Depending on how long you have been on birth control, it may take as long as 10 days being off before you can get pregnant.

A pap smear is a sampling of the inside of your vaginal wall that gets tested to determine if you have abnormal readings which would indicate cancer or other health problems.

Yes, you can get pregnant on birth control. Most of the time it is because the person takes some other kind of medication that negates the effects of the birth control.

They say 3 months for the birth control. A pap smear checks for abnormal cell growth on or around your cervix. And I got pregnant with #3 on the pill. Hope everything works out for you.

Why are you on birth control if you want to get pregnant? If you are trying to increase your chances of getting pregnant, I'd say about 6 months, then quit. I was on the pill for years and got pregnant within 2 weeks of quitting. A pap smear is a gynecological test that a doctor does to test for cervical cancer and other such diseases.

Your initial question is confusing. After any amount of time on BC, you can stop and try to get pregnant. Could be days, could be years.

A pap smear is a test done for cervical cancer. Women should have one done every year.

Lots and lots of women get pregnant while on birth control. No form is 100% effective, except total abstinence.

I got pregnant on BC, because I would forget to take my pill a few time. Probably at least a month or 2 before after you get off it completely. Also a pap smear checks for anything abnormal, cell growth, cancer, STD's, etc

it depends on the birth control that your taking could be up to 3 mouth to get it out of your system.
pap is something that you should have every year the doctor checks your ovaries and makes sure everything is ok down there. I have never gotten pregnant on birth control, but i know people that have. birth control is not 100% proof. so anything is possible.

You can take prenatal vitamins at any time. The only concern is the iron in some of them-ask your doctor if you need it. If the birth control you were using was the pill, you can try whenever you stop taking it, or at least that's what I was told, and I became pregnant about 3 months later.
