Good point. That's why Jesus clarifies his position by explaining that we will be judged by the same standards that we use to judge others. Contrary to popular opinion, he does not just give a blanket prohibition against judging... he advocates a righteous judgement.

That is not correct. They are not saying: "your lame because your judging people".
They are merely making the observation that you are judging someone. They are judging your actions. For example if someone were to see you slurping your soup they may say: "you shouldn't slurp your soup". If they were judging you they say something like: "your lame because your slurping your soup".
