Ar (mount) Meggedon (Meggido) means Mt. Meggido it is a plain at the base of Meggido.The Lord will draw the armies of the world there and there will be no fighting back.He will speak and the flesh will melt on their bones.It will be a localized battle.Not the end of the world.Earlier there will be a nuclear exchange,but not once Jesus gets into it.You can reference Daniel,Zechariah,Matthew 24,and Revelation 19.Also Ezekial 38 and 39.They use the ancient names for the countries but it will be Russia ,Turkey Ethiopia,Iran,Iraq,and a few others ,then the Red Chinese will come from the East and they get it too.Jesus will hit Bozrah first then go up to Megiddo.When it's over He will stand on the Mt. of Olives.

Armageddon will come at the end of the great tribulation, When Daniel's 70th week begin, There will be a peace treaty sign & Israel will also sign it, Because of the war of Eze. 38 & 39 will cause conditions that they will want to sign it, Israel nor any other nation will know that it will only be for 7 yrs. They will think it will be forever, But After the signing then Israel has 2 prophets come on the scene & prophecies to Israel for signing that peace treaty, These 2 Prophets will prophetcied for 1260 days, or 3 1/2 yrs. Rev. 11:7-12, Then the anti-christ will come with his army & have those 2 prophets killed, their body will lay in the street for 3 1/2 days, Rev.11:9 They after the 3 1/2 days God raises them up again & take them up to heaven. Then the anti-christ will sit himself up in the temple to be worship as God, This starts the great tribulation, & his alotted time is also for 1260 days . 42 months, or 3 1/2 yrs., The Bride is in Heaven right after Daniel's 70th week begins, In other words, the Bride will be here just long enough to see those 2 Prophets at the beginning of their ministry. The bride is at the marriage supper. The anti-Christ is now sitting in the temple, Causing the Sacrifice offerings to stop. After the 3 1/2 yrs of Great tribulation, Christ comes with his Bride Rev. 19:14 for what to rule & reign upon this earth for 1000 yrs. Now we have a 7 year time period here, The 1st 1260 days is the 2 prophets, The last 1260 days is the anti-christ, But many does not know it but Daniel saw something more, Of which I will show in a minute, we now have the anti-christ end at the conclusion of the 1260 days, Christ is coming back with his Bride in Rev 19:14 Then we see the anti-christ making war with Christ & his bride, That is armegeddon, when at the end of the last 3 1/2 yrs.And Christ & his Bride will overcome the anti-christ. But in Rev 19:14, we still don't see Christ or his bride on this earth yet, Why, let's see, Turn to Daniel 12:11-13 Many don't understand this, But we are looking at more than 1260 days alotted to the anti-christ & there has to be a reason, 11: And From the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, ( & that is when The anti-christ first sits himself up)The Jews are no longer permitted in the temple. And the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be 1290 days, 30 days more than the 1260 days alotted to the anti-christ,. what is going on in those 30 days, Armeggeddon , 12: Blessed is he that waiteth & cometh to the 1335 days, again another 45 days, making it 75 extra days, & there is a purpose & a reason, We know the anti-christ is given 1260 days to sit in the temple then armeggeddon is fought. In that extra 30 days, but we still have to see what happens in the other 45 extra days. after Armegeddon, Satan is Bound for 1000 yrs. & the anti-christ spirit is cast into hell. Christ & his Bride still haven't touch earth yet, That armegeddon war will be fought on earth & heaven, Because Christ & his Bride has came in the air, but not yet touch the earth, That sign of his coming will be there in the sky for 75 days, Now armeggeddon is fought & the anti -christ & satan is cast into hell, we have to see then about these other 45 extra days, Christ will not come & rule & reign in a temple that has been defiled by the anti-christ, so during those 45 more extra days, the temple is being cleansed & prepared for Christ to rule in it. Now verse 12, some has ask why are these people blessed, Because God let them live through the great tribulation & they had good moral values about them That God will allow them to go over into the millennium to help re=populat the earth again, That is why they are blessed, Now Please don;t get armeggeddon mix up with Ezekiel Chapter 38 & 39 They are 2 different wars so is the war in Ezekiel 25, the one In Ezekiel 25 is a war Israel will have to fight very soon to gain all their land back, Exekiel 38 & 39 is the effects of Israel getting all their land back that the spirit of satan thinks he can take it back from Israel, & then armegedon is at the end of daniels 70th week, at the end of the 1260 days alloted to the anti-christ & to the destruction of the anti-christ at the end of 1290 days. Armageddon will come when one day the sun begins to expand into a red giant star, completely enveloping Mercury and Venus (and possibly even the Earth). If it does not envelope the Earth, then our planet will become the new Mercury, a barren unlivable planet.
