Is it possible for someone to exorcise a negative entity that is within them? Are there any records of this in any religious writings? Not just the zionist religions but is any mention in other religions as well?

Yes it os possible.

There are cultures all over the world that use different techniques to cast out unclean spirits.

If you are a Catholic; use holy water

if you are a protestant read Mark 16:17-18 aloud and command the spirits leave.

If you are Jewish or muslim; burn some frankinsence and fan the smoke through your house and on your body

If you are native American smudge the house and yourselg with the smoke from white sage.

If you practise feng shui set up a ba gua mirroe and use a night light.

There are lots of different ways to do this; and feel free to E-Mail me for further instruction kahuna_2bears@yahoo.com

It is not possible for anyone to exorcise a negative entity from within them or even in someone else. Those negative entities are not at our beck and call.

However, they will leave if a more powerful entity tells them to. If we call on God and seek God's protection, God can tell them to leave. However we then have to stay with God otherwise they can come back.

They may also leave for their own reasons, if it suits their negative purposes to do so. For example, sometimes they set up a scam where they will possess someone, then when an exorcist who they with to make people believe in does his stuff, then they leave so that people will believe in the exorcist. They thus attempt to lead people into superstition and invalid beliefs. So just because someone seems to exorcise the negative entities, it does not mean the exorcist is from God.

well, exorcism is when someone commands an evil entity out of them by the authority of Jesus Christ. The only reason why you may need another person is if the evil entity is very resistant and tries to fight you, they want to inhabit a body. If things get ugly, another mature, determined person can intercede for you and continue commanding the demon out by the authority of Jesus Christ.

I don't think it is ever been written that someone performed an exorcism on themselves. The reason would be that the demon would not allow the person to perform the exorcism.

I know that the catholic church has done exorcisms for hundreds of years. You might want to talk to a catholic priest and see what they think. They know what to do and say. I don't know if it can be done by your self or not. Good luck and I hope I helped some.

The best way to exorcise demons is by medicating them with antidepressants and a good therapist.

let me be clear i have no belief in this stuff. having said that, it seems to me that if a person is strong enough to exorcise themself, then they should be strong enough never to have been possessed in the first place...am i right?

Sounds more like a psychological disorder rather than a religious experience.

There is no need for exorcism. Even the Catholic church has abandoned their ghost-busters squad.
