You are in delayed entry. You can drop out at any time. Just write your recruiter a short note telling him/her you've changed your mind and will not be going.
The recruiter might try to talk you out of it, but legally, there's nothing that can be done to you. You don't even get a discharge from the military because, technically, you've never been in.

while you're enllisted in the army you may prepare for the Seaman to Admiral application. There are purely some spots reserved for enlisted individuals to pass to the Naval Academy each and every 12 months, you will desire to be a standout sailor. If i'm no longer wrong you may't be married or have little ones. they desire applicants that would have 0 distractions.

Thank You for providing yet another example of "not taking responsibilty for your own actions". Quite obviously you have not grown up yet enough for that. There was a time when I thought you should be made to go through with what YOU swore to by taking AN OATH. NOW I firmly believe the MILITARY is MUCH better off without you. I hope you do get out of it Sonny.

Why did you join then are you a coward? It's all volunteer, nobody held a gun to your head. If they are letting you on a computer to ask stupid questions, then you are having a way easier time in boot, than I did in the Corps, therefore I believe you are asking a fraudulent question and are most likely a communist. If however this is real, I suggest you move to France. You'll be among brothers.

Mostly likely probably not but you should probably talk to your recruiter. It also depends on how far along in the enlistment process you are.

talk to your recruiter, your not official until last swearing in, but next time you want to join something think about it before you do, navy is downsizing so you just wasted recruiters time.

Yes. You can talk to your recruiter and ask for an ELS (Entry Level Seperation).
Good Luck.

First well done for coming to your senses and realising the big mistake you were about to make.
ELS is good, provide a good motivation such as your inability to kill on demand citing that your conscience prevents you from doing that.
you might feel weird at a later stage whether you are macho enough and all that; but think of it in terms of logic.
why would anyone voluntariliy join the army to go kill other innocent people like what we got in irak, and risk being killed yourself for absolutely no better reason that a promise made by junior to senior

If you go to San Francisco you might "catch" gay, my cousin got really drunk the night before he reported and they wouldn't take him, but there was no war at the time, and it probably affected his resume negatively
