Bible, Pope Authenticity?

There is a certain connection between the Pope and the Book of revelations. It said that in Rev. 13 is about the beast which may be the devil and pre-introductory chapter to the Great Babylon who has the number 666. If you calculate Vicarius Filii Dei (which might have been in the Papal Tiaras of the past) in Roman Numerals have the output of 666. Is there an authentic connection with the pope and Babylon? If there is, would you consider that the Pope is the replacement of Jesus Christ? If 13 and 666 is unlucky, could this mean that the Pope is leading a foster domination of christianity? This leads to St. Peter the rock, is there evidence in the BIBLE or HISTORICAL ACCOUNTS that he went to Rome to be the 1st pope? According to the bible, It is said that St. Paul when to Rome instead of Peter? It is said that the bible is an Exact Science. Some say that Peter died at Rome crucified upside down. What are your Logical theories on this? Is this indeed the basis of the Church's History?

The Papal Tiara and the '666' Myth

One common myth surrounding the papal tiara involves the claim that the words Vicarius Filii Dei exist on the side of one of the tiaras.

The myth centres on the widely made claim that, when numerised (ie, when those letters in the 'title' that have roman numeral value are added together) they produce the number '666', described in the Book of Revelations as the number of the Antichrist.

This claim has been made by some fundamentalist protestant sects who believe that the pope as head of the Roman Catholic Church is the antichrist.

Four definitive sources are sometimes given:
- A protestant woman visiting Rome said she witnessed Pope Gregory XVI wearing a crown with the words on it, in or around 1832;
- Pope Gregory XVI had worn a papal tiara with these words clearly visible on it at a Pontifical High Mass during Easter 1845;
- The 'existence' of a photograph of a papal funeral at the start of the twentieth century (which probably means the funeral of Pope Leo XIII in 1903 but could possibly be Pope Pius X's in 1914) showing the words on a papal tiara.

The tiara (with the words mentioned) is always used to crown popes, but specifically was used in 1939 to crown Eugenio Pacelli as Pope Pius XII.

The claim is demonstrably false.

Whether or not the numerised total of the letters in Vicarius Filii Dei produce the total '666' is irrelevant because no such title actually exists for the papacy or the Holy See.

While the words did feature in the Donation of Constantine (now known to be a forged document) they referred to St. Peter and not subsequent popes.

In 1832, only two tiaras existed; one from the sixteenth century and one, given by Napoleon I to Pope Pius VII in 1804. Neither contain writing.

3. explain how getting 666 from Roman numerals has any relevence when of course we know the first text this 666 comes from in the bible was not in Latin but......Greek and Aramaic and hence the numerals associated with these languages is different from Latin.

5. read the Early Church Fathers and discover St. Peter did arrive at Rome but let's assume he did not this would not affect the origins of the Roman Catholic Church as the Church has never claimed it originated in Rome. Be mindful that Christianity was born within the Roman Empire not Persia or China or North America.

666 is the number of Nero, Revelations is all about the Roman empire that John was banished from. He writes in code (rev.) to his followers so that he is not killed for speaking out against Rome which is what would have happened if he would have been caught doing this. The beast had 7 heads, Rome was built a top 7 hills. Do you get it now?

The Pope's official title is VICARIOUS FILII DEI which is Latin for Vicar of the Son of God or In Place of the Son of God.

According to Scripture, antichrist will practice his work of deception until Jesus Christ returns and puts an end to it Himself.

Prophetic Characteristics of Antichrist.

Characteristic #1: Antichrist is to receive it's "seat" and authority from Rome. Revelation 13:4.

I accepted all Catholic doctrine as the word of God until I actually began to read the Word of God then I saw the inconsistencies, the errors and the outright lies. Exposing the errors of the RCC isn't meant to bash them or anyone else who is believing in error.

The Bible you read today is merely a colelction of letters and books.
ALL the gospels were not added in this bible. In 300CE in the Council of Nicea in Rome the Bible was first made. People argued there depending on what would be put in and left out.

The bible read now a' days is merely some of the gospels. dont just study a few, study them all. Dont turn your back on thes not added merely cause it "goes against what you learned in bible school"

Study the unadded gospels and it will open your eyes to the true christianity believed in before the faith became a pool of bubbling hipocrites

The Pope does not question the authenticity of the Bible, the living word of God. The Bible is suited on coaching faith and morals. it incredibly is a coaching of the Church and the Pope does not go against his very own Church. The Pope besides won't be able to instruct falsly on faith and morals - papal infalibility.
