Hi Nickolas! You're in the wrong country. There should be a Canadian link on Y/A! We don't know much about Canadian Wiccan temples in the U.S.A. We can't even get our Veteran's Association to allow soldiers' widows to place Pentagrams on their grave markers. The only thing I know about Wicca in Canada is that it's on the rise and much more accepted than on this side of the border.
And don't you just love how warm and loving our Christians are? Sorry you've gotten so many horrible answers from them. We're used to it over here.
Blessed be!

I'm a Christian who has a lot of respect for Wiccans. Despite what the ignorant here will say, I know plenty of Wiccans who live in a more Christ-like manner than any number of supposed Christians I could point out. Their dedication to charity work and conservation is notable and appreciated.
To answer your question, I do not know much about Canada, but there are plenty of Wiccan groups in the Northeastern U.S., and I would imagine the same is true in Canada. Most that I've run into here are respectable organizations that do not let cultural ignorance deter them from doing good work.

sorry, thats not true... wiccans don't practice in "temples". The most that they ever get together is in a coven. I was a solitary practitioner. (i was once wiccan, but not since i found satanism)
I've never heard of any wiccan churches, temples, or any standing building where they practice. Wicca, being an earth based religion i think should be practiced outside, not trapped behind walls.

I don't know about Canada, but in the southern US, there are plenty of Wiccans and Druids. They don't have temples as such, and they don't advertise their worship sessions in popular media, mainly because the mainly Christian religious groups down here are particularly intolerant and they'd have to put up with a lot of "Repent Sinner!" cries and signs and such during their worship, which would be really disruptive. It isn't surprising that you have to really work to find a Wiccan contingent under such conditions.

I know that marijuana is legal in (either parts or all of) Canada. I'm not sure about the Wiccan religion therre. Obviously, not a lot of info about it here. You might try wikipedia or look up 'religions in Canada' on a search engine (Google-?)

There very well might be pagan temples..you have to look around. Check out Witchvox website and see what you can find. There are many groups all over the place.

Aren't christians so loving and tolerant??
And they wonder why people aren't flocking to their "truth."
To answer your Q. I live in USA but I'm pretty sure what you heard is not correct.
