Its more about being right than it is about religion.

Actually it's probably because you don't notice non judgemental answers as much. The ones that stick in your memory are the ones that you find interesting or annoying. Since you're clearly annoyed by people being judgemental, you tend to notice those answers more often. This leads to an illusory correlation error in which you perceive there as being more judgemental answers than there actually are.
And if it isn't up to us to be the moral police of life, whose responsibility is it?

I feel the same frustration when at yahoo answers. I have two theories:
1) People with strong opinions are drawn to this site. Most Christians, atheists, and others who don't care to change others' views mostly stay away from this site.
2) It's easy to be rude and spout off at your computer, when you're not looking another person in the face. How many conservative Christians would tell a loving, faithful Jewish person that they were "going to hell" when looking them in the eyes?
The good news is, there are plenty of people who share here from all backgrounds that are wise and respectful. It's their answers that I search for, for they make me a better person.

Check yourself for anti-religious bias. You are showing some.
It is in the nature of any answer that means something to be judgmental, or at least, discretionary. It is also in the nature of morality to impose limits on human behaviour. If you think you have the right to kill someone for their house, doesnt that person have the right to impose their morals on you to stop you from doing so?
You should be thankful that people have imposed morals like banning genocide, or frowning on murder, or discouraging robbery on us. Civilization, and therefor we, cannot live without morals being imposed. I dont believe in the law of the jungle, sorry.

once you ask a query on a public talk board which includes Yahoo you may anticipate all kinds of solutions yet there are all kinds of people in the international and actually some enthusiasts and mentally disturbed human beings. in addition they examine and respond so merely evaluate which makes maximum sense to you and stable success. People will never agree 100% on what is moral since morals are subjective.
It is human nature for X amount of people to point out when someone is doing something they don't agree with.
Get over it!

Colin C says it pretty well.
People are usually very passionate regarding their religious philosophies. Certain questions evoke passionate responses, and the anonymity here does let one use less restraint than they would if discussing face to face.

People who say they are not Christian (I'm speaking of non-jews in the USA), actually are about 80% Christian inside themselves, but don't realize it - it's just the way people were raised here, and how society forms us.
Of course, all that is rapidly changing, and when the athiests and muslims take over, America will be just another massive landmass full of hateful and trecherous people who neither help others, nor care about others. New York City is already like that. When middle america's attitude is finally that of NYC, God help us.

It's human nature to be judgemental, and it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's only bad when the judgement is baseless.

That's the way that those claiming to be atheists are: Judgemental, insulting and obnoxious. Most Christians, on the other hand, quote verses of Scripture to support their claims. Truth is truth and fact is fact.

because 90% of the people out there feel they have a point of view to defend. I agree though, they say they're Christian and yet they judge others, cast stones at others. It is not their job to tell the truth according to how they interpret the bible.
There are a billion paths to God period. God sees more than we do, just remember that. It is absurd to declare that "this is what God wants because this is what he said here in this book". What a limited God so many follow. God is much bigger than that.
