yeah i think so. The first question that people ask me when they find out I'm a Christian is what denomination? i say "i'm a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ". who needs denominations? it's like Baptist kids can't talk to methodists because their denomination is the same. it doesn't make sense.

I'm not Christian, but I've noticed among Christian people I meet that Non-denominational usually means Pentacostal or Charismatic. I think they use non-denominational to mean that anyone can be a member without accepting a long drawn out doctrinal stance beyond what is commmonly shared amongst most American evangelicals.
See Eds down below for an example.

No, they don't have to answer to the mainline denominational leaders. The ones Ive gone to were Full Gospel or Pentecostal in a way, but free to interpret scripture and live for the Lord as they feel is right and not having to check with the denominational leaders when you want to do something.

NOPE. There are non-denominatiuonal groups of Christians all over the world that have gone back to using ONLY the BIBLE as their reference to what GOD wants us to do and how to worship HIM. These are Christians that: meet every Lord's Day, serve the Lord's Supper, Give as they have received, sing praises to GOD, have BIBLE STUDIES, preach, and teach GOD's WORD because they are told to do so in the BIBLE. They need No MaN MaDe CrEeDs to be followed. Have a great day!

Edit... WE do not follow any of the Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, or Pentecostal Teachings whatsoever. They are reading into GOD's WORD what they want it to say. We are strictly following HIS WORD and examples of the First Century Christian Church of GOD or CHRIST that is named in the BIBLE.

They have Baptist (or Charistmatic) theology. I just think of them as Baptists who pretend they are closer to first century Christianity because the don't have a name.
