Im not sure to much of your situation but in relationships it helps to have lots of fun to keep the flam burning, like maybe go travel somewhere and enjoy life while out there discover new things about each other because when the conversation is good no one wants to stop. Laugh smile and dont force anything. And if your sexual explore new pleasure that defently kicks something. Bottom line be open to new things so that you both dont get bored. No one wants to be with lame.

I think you've aswered your own question. If both of you feel like getting far away from one another, then you need a break from one another. I don't mean like forever, but just a break from each other. Take a short "vacation" from one another and it will give each of you time to re-evaluate your relationship.

I agree with peter, it's got to be mutual. Just be yourself or the person he felt in love wit. The worse thing you can do is to appear like you're working overtime to maintain the relationship. Just relax, if it's meant to be then it'll fall into place. You could start wit spicing up your sex life, do something unexpected. Maybe even fire up his attraction by suddenly being unavailable when he calls or wants to see you, it may make him want you more. xx

I think to be together foreve you need to be expressive.You should make yur parter feel that he is important to you and you love him the same way you loved him for the first time.And not to forget you should keep on the sweet gestures with each other to keep your romance alive.
