HE is saying that he will try to get in your pants but only as friends with benefits and he has a gf already and if she finds out she will dump him. Just tell him to go fly a kite and move on. Youd ont need friends like that.

maybe it saying you are his friend , maybe on the long term of friendship you are bf/gf , if you breakup for some reason i still want to be friend.

Either he's just not into you or he has a problem. Has he been dumped in the past? If you're young, I don't think you should waste your time waiting for him. Just be friends. Maybe he'll come around, maybe not.

He's been hurt and is afraid that if he has a girlfriend he'll be hurt again. If he wants to be friends thats a good step towards getting closer to him and aleviating his fear of rejection.
