The main fact to realize is that most of the nutrition data that you see are based on the recommended preparation. Now lets look two of the more popular meal deals at McDs a BigMac Meal (Med Fries and Soda) vs at Subway the Subway Club and Drink

Nutrition Facts:
MCDs Calories/Fat(g)/Sodium(mg)/Carbs(g)
BigMac: 560/30/1010/47
Fries:380/30/220/47
Soda: 210/0/20/86
Totals: 1150/60/1350/180

Subway Calories/Fat(g)/Sodium(mg)/Carbs(g)
Club 6": 320/6/1310/47
Soda: 210/0/20/86
Totals 530/6/1330/133

Result: Subway better for you. Again that it will recommended Preperation method. So if you load your sub with Mayo instead of oil and vinegar then the result might change. If you have a bag of chips with it results might change.

I would, however, think that since you are getting a better helping of vegetables from Subway that overall it is healthier for you that McDs.

The healthier option would be to stay away from Fast Food.

Subways is healthier than McDonalds. It is a goof fast food alternative. Not every sandwich is super healthy though. You have to make wise choices, such as grilled chicken, turkey roast beef. All are lean cuts. You should also ask for the low fat mayo or mustard and get it on the wheat bread. There is a sign which says which are low cal and low fat. One thing to consider is that the bread is not 100% whole what and you are eatign more carbs than protein but it is still a great thing to grab if you are trying to lose weight If you are lookign to gain muscle and do so by consuming high amounts of protein, then try not to eat it all the time.

I think they are healthier than a McDonalds and much, much tastier, especially a Hot Steak Chipotle, yum!! That isn't the healthiest one, but it's the tastiest, I tried the Meatball one and it too is absolutely delicious! They do do super healthy sandwiches too, though, on a bread called Hearty Italian, which is supposed to be lighter on calories. If I'm out and fancy a snack I will always seek out a Subway before I'd go into a McDonalds or other Burger Joint.

Subways CAN be healthy and great for you but only IF you choose something made with leaner meat, a whole grain bread, add lots of veggies, and skip the cheese and dressing/mayo. But if you go for a sandwich piled with meats and cover it in sauce and cheese and mayo, it's just as bad as McD's.

But if you try you could find something quite healthy at McD's, some of their new salads and deli sandwiches are pretty healthy, as long as the dressing or mayo is on the side. And the grilled chicen is good too, although it's a little high in sodium.

Subways are good and a healthier option to Mcdonalds or Burger King.

I usually fill mines with loads of veg and a mixutre of sauces. Avoid the sweet onion as that has a lot of calories.

It relies upon on which sandwich you get no rely if it is low in fat. Even the low fat sandwiches have sufficient energy to make you fat in case you consume sufficient of them. A Subway sandwich would desire to be a piece of a healthful weight loss application in case you utilize it to help get sufficient food, and replace a decrease fat Subway sandwich for some fattier meal. It won't counteract the different energy you consume. It won't magically make you slender.

It depends on what you have. If you go to subway and eat 12 cookies and drink 6 colas then no. If you have a 6" sub with a mineral water then yes.

Well as already stated depends what you fill them with, if you go for meat and salad and olives with no sauce..plus a homemeal bread, as healthy as an meal....but as boring as. However, too much rubbish in it makes it very unhealthy, but the secret is you can control what you have rather than be given rubbish without asking for it!
