Anyone know of any references for use in an assignment please

I am a registered Nurse and we are able to deal with mental training, we are not as trained in it as specialized mental health nurses, but we have some training, we have to as when you work in a hospital you never know what sort of patients you're going to have, where as mental health nurses can only do mental health nursing nothing else

There are psych nurses who are trained in the mental health field. That would be your best bet. Maybe you can call a mental health facility and ask if anyone's available to assist you.

Go to the library and look under psychology section you will get good reference books on the various perpectives. steer clear of the self help book as many are not by psychologists.
