a girl i like and i had a conversation where we agreed to just be friends bc even though we both kind of like each other, we are involved with other people. she was in tears after this conversation. 2 days later, she sent me poetry about an ambiguous "he" and stuff could be interpreted as being about me. a month later, when we are just friends, she posts the poem on myspace saying it is about her boyfriend. what is going on with this girl???

You hurt her feelings, why is that hard to understand? And maybe the poem was really about the other guy.

As much as some of us want to think we are tough, we still feel the feelings of love that can make us blind. Agreeing your friends is a agreement in words, but the heart may still feel different. Even though you know nothing could happen between the two of you, maybe she still liked the idea of it. Now she just has to deal with your agreement in her own way. If she isn't blabbing your business around town, I wouldn't worry about it. Still respect that she may have had deeper feelings for you than you for her.

I think she likes you, but is proud of her writing, and told a little white lie about who its about just so it could be out there...and you know who its about, so you can read it anytime you want....like a secret love thing.
