If he doesn't pick me to be his partner for life, I feel the reason would be because I can't get pregnant. I left my ex because he cheated on me for years. Since I thought that I would be with my ex forever, I made the decision to not have any more. We have three between the both of us (one together). My guy friend has two right now. It makes lots of sense that he would want a baby by his wife. I have always wanted to adopt. I feel that that idea might turn him off though. At this early point in our relationship (met one year ago, just lovers) should I bring it up now? I don't want to regret not talking about it, then when it's too late he says "you should have said something". What would you do?

Tell him. He deserves to know. He will make a decision from there. What he will decide I don't know. Expect the worst. Not saying he will leave you. He might want to compromise.

Good Luck George

I would never talk about a subject like that at the beginning of a relationship, but u have been together a year and that is plenty long enough to talk about the future. If that is something he truly wants and u can't give him that then u don't want to invest more time in this relationship and end up with him resenting u for it or leaving u because of it. Definately bring it up and get it out in the open so u know if u are wasting your time. It's not fair to either one of u not to know.

YOU SHOULD SAY SOMETHING AT THE VERY FIRST MOMENT THE RELATIONSHIP BECAME LONG TERM, BUT YOU HAVE AN EXCUSE WHIT ALL THE KIDS WE HAVE TOGETHER I NEVER THOUGHT YOU WANTED ONE MORE.
BRING THE POINT OUT, I DO NT REALLY THINK THAT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT DEAL BECAUSE HE ALREADY HAS TWO OF HIS OWN. ARE YOU READY TO LIVE WITH HIM AND NOT HAVE ANY KID IN COMMON?
