I was having a great time, she was given a big purple helium balloon from the waiter who liked her I believe. We got to the car and I go to open her door. She then takes this huge balloon, puts it on the ground and stomps on it, popping it really loud in front of everyone in the parking lot. She never says a word, just laughs evil like. I was very hurt and disappointed. Should I be? How should I read this? Should I go out with her again?

Obviously she does not like to receive purple balloons from strange waiters. No big deal. Go out with her again and if a waiter starts walking toward your table with a balloon, get up and tackle him before she sees the balloon.

yes continue, some people are very afraid of balloons. They may have had a bad experience as a child. She may have been trying to hard to be humorous about her act but don't stop seeing her for this event. My experience is that I hand out hundreds of balloons at a local festival in the summer and there are probably a dozen people that get very disturbed when they are handed balloons. One guy I thought was going to punch me because I didn't recognize him from turning down a balloon offer earlier in the day. Most excuses were because as a child they were traumatized by losing hold or having an older sibling break it.

I think your over-reacting. One, helium balloons in cars are a pain. Two, you didn't give it to her.
How would you have reacted if some guy had given her something other than a balloon? Maybe she was trying to get rid of a present from another guy in a carefree manner so you wouldn't worry about it. Did you try asking her why she popped it?
As for asking her out again... if you are going to be offended by something like this, then she is probably better off without you.

Why would u be hurt? u didn't give her the balloon. She probably did that because it was given by another guy and she wanted to show u that it meant nothing to her and she didn't want it. Yes u should go out with her again. If something like that scares u off of another date with a woman, u won't last very long with anyone. Don't base the date on something so trivial, base the date on how she was with u.

Well, as fun as balloons are what was she going to do with it. Unless you expected her to take it home, let it deflate and keep it as a memento of your date I'm not sure i understand why you are hurt. Popping is what you do with balloons....

sounds like an outgoing and fun person to be around. There will be more where that came from.......she's showing you herself, that she feels comfortable around you. Im outgoing I would do this. maybe shes letting you know that she wants to be with you not the waiter. sounds all perfectly normal to me.Nothing to get all worried about.
