It is stupid to do something to cure a problem that actually CAUSES the problem. All killing Saudi families and destroying their villages would do is create MORE terrorists. People there would be angry, and would hate us more than they already do. This would INCREASE terrorism, not decrease it.
It would also turn their government against us, which would hurt us more than it would help. The Saudis, like it or not (and I don't), are considered our allies. We get a lot of our oil from them. So how does $7 a gallon gas sound to you?
Punishing families for the deeds of their kids is an ignorant solution to any problem, and it is unAmerican. We do not punish the families of criminals here in the United States. Why would we do it there?

We don't punish the son for the sins of the father in a civilized society. Do you want to be held accountable for the behavior of your relatives? I know I don't.
Not to mention that the US constantly acting like the worlds policeman is part of what turns other countries against us and fosters the creation of terrorists.
