What's Stockholm syndrome?
What I would say (If I understand your question right) is God doesn't cause natural disasters, not anymore. These are the events are the last breaths of a world heading towards its end
The Bible has two parts, the Old Testament (or Covenant) gives readers insight into God's nature. Unbelievers say it describes God as being violent, but that isn't true. God is simply intolerant of evil and was quick to punish offending people back then. There is a Bible verse which says God is tired of sacrifices and killings, that He only wants His children to worship Him and live in truth (or something like that, I can't remember). This shows our God is a God of peace.
The New Testament (or Covenant) shows readers the new way to be right with God. When Jesue died and rose again savation for mankind was complete. God will no longer intefere directly but will watch, giving man the freewill to chose to come to Him or not. He is not responsible for natural disasters.

HI
Along time ago in the garden of Eden Satan tempted Eve and she turned aside from God they both did, in turn every single one of God's creation to be exact angels witnessed this turning and then Satan made a charge that men will only love him for their own benefit so God in order to answer the charge turned over the world to Satan, you can tell be reading about Jesus' temptation and when Satan offered the world to Jesus by doing one act of worship to him, but Jesus didn't correct him and say that this was God's world but said to God we must render sacred service so there, the world is in Satan hands but only for a short while so that the dispute can be settled that men do not love God for only selfish reason. Satan is causing and has caused torment upon the world and is soley responsible for man kinds suffering but soon the issue will be resolved and he will be destroyed and the world will be made new-that is in revelation. Hope this helps.

People don't suffer needlessly, but some suffer senselessly. By that I mean that some people cause their own pain and suffering through disobedience. Pain and suffering are a part of life that we would turn to God and do what He wants, not what we want. That should make us want to worship Him even more because He gives us that choice. He treats us all the same but for different reasons; the sinner, He uses suffering and pain to bring them to His grace and healing; the Christian suffers for the sake of coming to perfection or maturity.

Disasters are suffering are the result of sin, released by humans, not God, then they disobeyed after the creation. In spite of all the laws and rules and warnings that God gives all through scripture, that certain sins have consequences, people continue to do them. And so the consequences follow.
To blame God is like plaming a parent who repeatedly warnings his child to stay out of the street, and puts up a fence to stop him. Yet the child climbs over and stands in the middle of the street playing chicken with the traffic. If he gets hit, it is not the parents fault.
The blame needs to fall on the guilty party, not God.

Actually, it's much simpler than Stockholm Syndrome.
People want a reason for things. Rather than realize that, for lack of a better term, "chit happens", they want to blame something. Some blame global warming (meaning humankind), and some blame God (meaning some unseen, unknown entity).
Either way, it solves nothing.....but apparently, it makes the blamers feel better.

God isnt causing natural disasters, true he can manipulate weather,season...but he would not use it to cause people to suffer or as others put it punish the wicked.
There is a difference between causing and allowing.
God only allows but he isnt the cause.

Actually, it isn't God that is causing natural disasters and letting people suffer needlessly; it is Satan, the ruler of this system of things.

GOD does not cause suffering and pain, satan does. Evil exists and is here for a time. In the end GOD will judge him and his legions. Do you want to be among them? Become one with the winning team, Team JESUS!
To become a real Christian, we are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament which is our Christian Guide. Have a great week.

Why do people keep believing in science when they can't even cure aids,or cancer?
God's wrath is God's wrath, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
