My bf wasn't calling as much as I wanted him to, maybe cuz I wasn't calling him, but when I sent him a text message, he would often not reply. I sent him a nasty text about it and then we were talking about it the other week. and he told me cuz of that text my guard is up. What does that mean? does it mean he might have been falling for me, and then is backing off?

it means that he is aware of u and he is expecting anytime that u would do something to hurt him. But i think he is an idiot! Find a better one , not a pussy who is afraid of u.

In general, don't respond when he tells you that he loves you when he's drunk. If he talks about it the next morning and says something like "i meant it, it's true" then you can tell him that you don't believe him or take seriously when he's drunk and you need to hear it when he's sober and aware of what he's saying. What concerns me about your post is how often he drinks to get drunk and that he only expresses his feelings for you when he is drunk. some people use alcohol to hide behind as a way to protect themselves and to deal w/ things that they can't handle sober and based on what you posted, your BF is sounds like he's dangerously close to that. He's also getting to an age where the frat boy drunk is no longer considered normal and is starting to be considered pathetic and problematic.

It means he is going to be cautious with u now because he saw a side of u he doesn't like. Men hate anger from women........they immediately picture getting nagged at and yelled at when they do something that we don't agree with, and that is something men don't want in any woman that they consider for a relationship. If he sees that side of u again anytime soon he will run for sure. I am not saying u have to accept his behaviour and not say anything, but it's all in the way u approach them that counts.

It means you pissed him off, his guy Friends have more influence on him than you do. He probably showed the text to them. Apologize, back off and give him some space If he really likes you he will come around, be the hunted not the hunter. Good luck.

He has probably had a lot of girls leave over very little things or something, because it sounds to me like he thinks your going to leave him and he sounds like he has had it happen before. Do you know what I mean? Like he thinks that over the little fight you guys had you dont want to be with him anymore. Best of luck to ya!

no. it means he is tryign to find a reason to let u go. count it as a warning. but that sounds like an immature response from him. u might want to dump him and find someone that can handle a relationship better
