He thinks he is a martyr because he was trained for that. He doesn't have mightmares he thinks he is going to heaven.

I don't know where you have been for the last 20+ years, but even my 8 year old knows what horrors and pain Saddam inflicted on thousands of people. I am sure the men who placed the rope around Saddam's neck are resting in good conscience. They probably had nightmares prior to hanging Saddam but now are at peace knowing that they carried out due justice.

Maybe they already had nightmares. Nightmares in which they saw members of their own families tortured and murdered by Saddam and his cronies. Maybe the placing of the rope around Saddams neck cured those nightmares
