I purchased a 2004 Ford F150 that had previousley been a repo. I didn't get the key fobs with the truck so I purchased them off of the internet. They worked fine except that the truck also has an aftermarket keypad on the drivers door. When I programmed the new key fobs the keypad stopped working. The owners manual says that only 4 keyless entry items can be programmed into the computer. I figured that the truck originally had 2 key fobs (that I do not have) programmed in and I programmed 2 more. Leaving the keypad as the 5th. Is there any way to reset the computer so that I can reprogram the 2 key fobs and the keypad?

U need to take it to the ford dealer they need to hook it up to ther computer. As of programing the fobs the old ones that u dont have will not work u allready rest the pats system in the truck for your fobs whene u programed them. The door pad is why you need to take it to the dealer.

Can't tell you how but I can tell you where to find out. There are two places to look. First would be the local ford dealer. Thier chief mechanic should be able to give you a step by step. OR you could go to an aftermarket alarm shop. Those guys are usually very helpful when it comes to knowing how to defeat and reset security features on just about all vehicle types.

Um, having an F150 of that era myself, I'd find another wheel off of an F150 or get one off of an Expedition or Navigator if you have 17s. I doubt you'd find a wheel with the same specs from another make.

the key code is under the dash drivers side look carefully its there 5 digits

Or turn key from full off to full on w/out starting the truck ( sometimes it up to ten times w/out pausing) when the locks pop up and down you can program your own code
