He thinks he is a martyr because he was trained for that. He doesn't have mightmares he thinks he is going to heaven.

i do no longer understand the place you have been for the final 20+ years, yet even my 8 12 months old is acquainted with what horrors and discomfort Saddam inflicted on hundreds of folk. i'm particular the adult adult males who placed the rope around Saddam's neck are resting in reliable judgment of right and incorrect. They probable had nightmares beforehand of putting Saddam yet now are at peace understanding that they complete due justice.

As much as i disagree with the hanging - (note - Hanging NOT punishment)i don't think the blame should be put on those men - they're doing a job and it's what will give them the money to go home an place food on their table! I suspect they probably do have some kind of nightmares about it - You'd be pretty sick not to! The blame however should be placed on those who deem it acceptable to take one man's life in place of others!

You would have to ask him. Sadam was an evil man. I doubt I would want to be the one responsible for helping kill him but I am glad he's gone. One more less problem.

The video that was released was by on of those men. It was cell phone footage and he was arrested for it. The Iraqi authorities clamed that the cnn footage was the only one to be shown, he's hanging wasn't supposed to be shown. I think it's because they were chanting something that started with an M. And they were taunting Saddam as he was about to be hanged. It was pretty harsh.

I hope for their own sake that this will haunt them. You can not fight cruelty with cruelty - we see the results of this senseless act already. Saddam should have been trialed in The Hague. This execution might have satisfied some weird people but in the end it brought only more violence into a violent world.

oh i bet they have nightmares and probably have them for the rest of their lives. Saddam was such an evil man, I'd be worried about him coming back to haunt me, forever. when he went before the judges in Iraq, and demanded that he still be called the president of Iraq, they were cowering. evil is scary.
