above average... the federal government used to say we needed 20 minutes of exercise 3-4 days a week. Now they have up'd it to 30 minutes 3-4 dayas a week. If you are non-competitive then 5K 5 days a week is great. But research wht your target heart rate should to make sure that you are getting enough out of your run.

I'm not really an expert but I have been running between 5k and 10k 5 times a week. Think it depends what you are aiming for. I'm doing a half marathon so I will introduce a long run into my week on one of the days. I think it is good for non-competitive runners definitely...I can remember not so long ago that I couldn't really do 1k so easily (I'm not a keen runner). However, it would be better to vary your exercise really unless you are going to run in a competition. Fitness is a strange thing, in that you are fit only for what you do. The best runner in the world might be rubbish at swimming or cycling. If you don't want to compete and just want to keep fit...aim to be a good all-rounder

I'd say you're doing just fine. My dad, who has been running for 35 years runs about that. Of course he is getting old, but in his prime he ran about 2:30 for a marathon, and has run 20 in total. As a non competitive runner, 15 miles a week is great to keep up a general fitness.

it's a great base for a non competitive runner. keep up the good work. I would have to say it average or a little above. you might want to try running a 5K race. it's fun you only have to compete against yourself and it's a good way to have a goal to keep running if things get boring...

Not taking into consideration such factors like your age, BMI, speed of the run, the mileage is pretty healthy if you run for health and fitness. It is advisable to have rest in between and not running all 5 days in a row.
