If you are not able to keep fluids down for more than 12 hours, I'd recommend seeing a urgent care or emergency room for re hydration. I hope you feel better soon.

Now with all vaccinations, even if it is dog or human, it is basically a weaker version of the disease or virus. Sometimes, a stomach is sensitive and cannot fight it off, thus it could be that sometimes a patient receives the disease because it cannot supply the necessary antibodies to fight the weaker virus off. Now when they're supposedly exposed to the virus, they're supposed to have already-made antibodies to fight it off and recognize it (B-cells) if the vaccine is successful. It could be either: 1. Sensitivity to a vaccine, like it is too strong for him 2. Cannot fight it off and maybe contracting the disease (rare though) 3. In the process of developing antibodies and in the meantime is very sensitive 4. It could just be his response. The "possible side effects" are only made on a certain amount of dogs in a controlled experiment. Those certain dogs probably did not get vomiting. But I can see why you are concerned. I would say that you should take him to the emergency room IN CASE it is a more serious reason like the first 2 i suggested. His body may not be able to cope with the vaccine. Humans are the same.

You will get better without going to a doctor. Vomiting is very hard on the body. You use alot of muscles you don't normally use and use them hard! That's why your so sore. And the acids from your stomic probably have your throat sore. You should feel better in a couple of days. Take care.

Try drinking some cool drinks without carbonation such as pop or liquor or acidy stuff such as orange juice. Apple juice, water or some other thing with ice in it or ice cream pops should soothe your throat. You may also want to check with the doctor to rule out Strep throat.
As far as the tummy hurting, if it is muscle ache then give it a day to rest. Try not to overuse the muscles. A day in bed may do you wonders. If the pain is severe then again see the doctor as he can prescribe something to make it better and make sure it is not something more serious.

Hubby's had the same, its some sort of bug going around. He just drank water for 1 day because he couldn't hold anything down, and then started off eating on the 2nd day with just lightly buttered toast. I think i've got away with most of it, but i have got an awful sore throat which i am just taking paracetomal for.

Do you know why you were vomiting? Something serious or just something you ate or a virus? Anyway it sounds like you need re-hydration. Lots of water and then someting easy to digest, soup maybe.
