Is that just something dogs do?He does it so much its becoming embarrassing like its all he wants to do.

It may slow it down but nothing will stop it, That's what dogs do. Neutering is good on so many levels though. Great health benefits, alleviates aggression, prevents marking (urinating in the house) and he won't add to the gross pet over population problem.

most dogs do it alot, its their way of cleaning theirselves, is he doing it constant?? or just often and at awkward times for you? if constant, he may have some type infection or problem, and there is irritation down there,,,,, a trip to the vet would be best, dogs can get bladder/kidney infections, all the things humans can,,,,,,,,,,, i dont think neutering would really make a difference,,,,

probably not, but you might want to have your vet check him for irritation. If there is no physical problem, he's just enjoying himself.

No he won't stop.

But there may be something about his tesitcles that bother him so he may not do it as much.

our golden retriever did that too, when we got him neutered he doesnt do it so often but occasionally he does... he also likes to hump pillows......

nope. thats his way of cleaning himself. not anything sexual
